5 year old Shih Tzu, male.

Good around other dogs but does like to chase the cats.
Needs to learn to trust people individually as can be quite timid and defensive on initial meet. We are working on that and he is making amazing progress. Very loyal once he trusts you. He responds to gentle actions and soft words.

Good watch dog.

Best suited to a home with older children. Scooters perfect home would be a quiet one.

Scooter is completely shaved now due to the amount of knots and matting in his fur, he was sedated for this. He does not like the clippers very much. Persistence and patience will be needed to get him used to being brushed and clipped.
