About Gidget (On trial 25/11/14) ~ good with kids&dogs
Gorgeous Gidget is approximately 6 months old, medium size, and one little live wire. She does everything with enthusiasm including eating and playing or just running around the back yard. She enjoys down time as well and you will often find her stretched out on a lounge or dog bed or lying out in the sunshine.
Gidget has a lovely soft light brindle coat, cute ears that stick straight up, and long puppy legs. We can't be sure of her breed but she looks like a whippet crossed with kelpie or English Staffy. She should grow up to be smallish, medium sized dog.
Gidget is such an affectionate girl. She will follow you everywhere even into the bathroom if you let her. She is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She wonderful with other dogs and is a great playmate for my Staffy. She would love to have another dog friend in her forever home.
Gidget is great with kids but may jump up on them in her excitement. This can be corrected with some puppy training. We always recommend training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
For more information or to meet Gidget, please contact her foster carer Michelle on 0431548163 or email michellemoodley10@gmail.com. Gidget is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, close to Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Gidget's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
