About Nella
Nella came to us from Blacktown Pound with her five newborn kittens and a two-week-old orphan, who she has loved and nurtured as one of her own.
Beautiful Nella is a smoochy and beautifully-natured girl who adores a cuddle and a chat about your day (and hers!), and she enjoys long, loving pats of her striking golden tabby coat. Gentle and sweet, she'll make a perfect addition to a family of her own.
A truly affectionate kitty who deserves lots of loving, Nella would prefer to preside over your household as a solo cat where she will be a much-loved and doted on forever companion.
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a calm, gentle soul and I purr like an engine - so it's essential that you appreciate both of those things! Lots of snuggles, plenty of good food and a safe indoors-preferred environment will keep me happy with you.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: One of my favourite things in the world is lounging around and gazing lovingly at my humans - but I AM still a mum in feeding mode, so it's possible I'll discover my energetic side once the munchkins have all left the nest! (I am still practically a kitten myself, after all.)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't spent any time with children yet, but I am a laid-back girl so it's possible that with gentle handling from kids with a good understanding of animal behaviour, I would be purrfectly content.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I haven't met any furry critters other than my own kittens, so your guess is as good as mine!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
