On Hold
About Uni is checking out his new home
Uni is a stunning looking red brindle boy who is looking for his forever home. He is a happy lad who is good with small dogs, but is not cat tolerant.
Uni is a very affectionate dog who loves his cuddles and to give you lots of kisses. He is very well behaved and has quickly learned the rules of the house. He enjoys his walks and other than some weaving is easy to walk, and after all the walk is all about the new smells of who has been there before. Uni has the waggiest tail we have seen on a Greyhound. Someone is going to get a wonderful dog.
Greyhounds are calm, gentle friendly dogs. They do not need long walks and are happy with a twenty minute walk once or twice a day.
They can sleep for up to 20 hours per day.
Greyhounds need to remain on lead at all times in public areas, and should only be allowed off-lead in fenced areas. They need to be muzzled in public until they have passed their Greenhounds assessment which gives them an exemption from muzzling.
They are very susceptible to weather, and will need shelter from the elements. During winter they will need a warm coat. They have little padding on their bones and will need a comfy bed all year around.
