About Rigby
Rigby, or Riggers as he is lovingly known in his foster home, is a gorgeous 6 1/2 month old Wolfhound x. He looks just like an Irish wolf hound but is crossed with a small breed as he is only a shorty. He absolutely loves the water and the beach. He is a sweet boy who just loves being apart of a family.
Rigby is currently in care with 7 other dogs and he gets along great with each of them. He is very dog friendly and loves spending his day chasing and wrestling with his foster siblings or if he is to be an only dog, walking to the park or beach on the weekends is his favourite! He is also fine around cats when supervised.
Rigby is toilet trained. He knows his basic obedience like sit etc and walks great on a lead.
Rigby will make a great companion one day, either for a family with kiddies as he loves them, or just as your one on one buddy, he will happily settle into your routine and become a great addition.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Rigby is located on the Central Coast of NSW where he lives with his foster family.

Please contact Cathy via email only should you wish to meet Rigby. Email will ensure a faster response. When enquiring about Rigby, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog/pup may be suitable for you. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
