About Mimmy
I didn't understand what was happening when a kind man came and picked me up off death row. I had no idea I'd be going to a home where people were gentle and loving, and that I would be given food whenever I was hungry. (I have fallen in love with food).
I hadn't really seen cat toys before, but once my human gave me some and showed me how to use them I realised how much fun they were! So if you pick me, can I please please have some at my new forever home? I love to play. My favorite thing is to zoom around the lounge room with my foster mum's small dog.
I wasn't too sure about this patting business at first, but now I love to be picked up for a brief cuddle and pat.
My foster mum says that I will make someone the perfect pet. I am the right combination of fun, cheeky and sweet and she laughs for hours at me.
MY IDEAL HOME: I would adore a home where I have company and someone to play with. I love my food as I am a growing girl, and will let you know when it is dinner time.
I may be a little worried at first, but once I settle in and realise you only want to love me, I will become your purry best friend.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm still pretty young so I get super hyper at different times of the day, but then I crash out for hours, laying in the sun, or a warm cosy spot.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't spent much time with children yet, but I think I would like them - especially if they were kind, and understood that I don't like to be squeezed, and that I would need time to get to know them. However once we learn how to play together, I am sure we could be best friends for life.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My foster mum has a small dog and he is very friendly, and we play together. I am certainly the boss.
I also get on with my foster mum's cat. She is a bit older then me though, so doesn't like to play, however we respect each others space and sometimes she will chase me down the hallway, which I secretly love.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
