Jock

Jock is a very happy friendly young man. He is a chunky 13 kgs on very small legs. Perhaps a wire-haired dachshund cross! He is a ball addict... loves to chase the ball and bring it back to drop it at your feet. He knows how to Sit and Stay and loves to swim at the beach and run and romp with all of his new doggy friends. He is extremely obedient and always returns to you when called.

SAS believe that he has been someone's everything as he has been much loved we just do not know what happened to Jock's someone that found him abandoned at a sydney pound.

Jock doesn't like to be left alone, he loves being beside you the whole time...perhaps a retiree or someone who works from home or someone that is looking for a companion dog would love to consider fostering or taking him on trial. He is very people and dog social and would be able to be taken anywhere that dogs are able to go and would love the opportunity to make new friends

His carer has been working with him and Jock is now able to stay by himself for 3-4 hours after a long walk. However SAS staff believe that Jock should be rehomed with another friendly dog to keep Jock's confidence up. He is currently living with a female terrier and they get on very well together.

He is a lovely boy and would make a great family companion. Jock can be viewed in the St George area of Sydney.
