About Alex (On Trial 22/11/14) ~ Mini Foxy
Male, Mini Foxy, 7 years old. Alex is a charming, gentle little man who loves sit out in the sun and also to sit with you when you settle down to watch TV. He is housetrained and is an indoor dog and needs to sleep inside.
Alex enjoys trips in the car. He enjoys going for a short walk on a harness and lead. He's too dignified to play with toys, LOL. He loves people, including older children. He can be a little shy when meeting new people but soon wants to be their friend.
Alex gets along well with other dogs of a similar size. He was living with many other dogs before his owner died and he and many other dogs were rescued. He would be fine to be an only dog so long as he has human company. He'd also be fine living with other small dogs.
Alex is still has half his life ahead of him and is ready to begin his new life in a new home. He loves to be cuddled and patted and will be a loving companion.
For more information or to meet Alex, please contact Donna on 0466 099 426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Alex is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW (Newcastle).
Alex's adoption fee is $250 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Alex had surgery on both knees but he is fully recovered and still loves going for a walk
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
