Piper *On Trial in Her New Home*

*PIPER IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet gentle girl Piper!! She is one of three healthy, happy puppies who were born in Mid-July; their mother is a Bull Mastiff x Ridgeback and their father is a Labrador x Kelpie,

All the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as older children making them pretty much “bomb proof”. All of the pups LOVE food and aren’t fussy so this is helping them with learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. They’ll need some practice walking on a lead once they’re in their forever homes as their foster carers haven’t been able to do so until they’re fully vaccinated though they’re bright puppies, so we’re sure they’ll quickly get the hang of it. They all enjoy water, so a doggie pool in the hot summer months is a must and we reckon they’ll be the size of a small Labrador once they finish growing.

Sweet Piper is a very gentle-natured pup who comes across as a bit of an “old soul”. She absolutely loves cuddles and being near you but at the same time is happy to cruise around doing her own thing. She’s not really into playing with toys with people though she loves to play with them when her carers own dog is involved and they’ll happily play tug-o-war or tear around the backyard chasing each other. Clever Piper quickly got the hang of a doggie door and takes herself in and out as she pleases. She has a super-shiny very short coat which doesn’t lose much hair and if you look closely at her photos you’ll notice she has a ‘ridge’ which starts near her head and goes down her neck which would be the Ridgeback breed coming through. As Piper’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing and bones to chew on will make this delightful girl very happy indeed.

As Piper is already toilet-trained (she uses a doggie door as well as being crate-trained) she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time while you’re away at work as she’s used to having company.
