About Scout
Scout is the most affectionate four-legged lad you’ll ever meet!
Scout is a 6 month old Border Collie pup, with gorgeous black and white markings and floppy ears. Scout came into foster care approximately 4 weeks ago and has settled in well with two resident dogs. Whilst Scout gets along well with other dogs and loves to have a chase or wrestle, he is more of a people dog. Scout shadows his foster carers and loves to snuggle up on the couch. He loves to be where the people are, so will need a home that will consider him part of the family.
Being a working breed, Scout will need mental and physical stimulation to keep him satisfied. Currently he loves to go for walks and walks well on the lead. He also enjoys a game of fetch here and there. Having said that though, Scout is quite chilled out and relaxed for a Border Collie.
Scout has house trained really easily, with only a couple of odd accidents inside. He does however think he can climb up on the lounge or bed at his choosing so you may need to lay down some ground rules! Scout has been learning some basic commands such as sit and recall. He responds well to positive reinforcement (treats, pats, praise) and will be easy to train as he is eager to please.
Scout is a truly wonderful dog who would thrive with a loving family who will spend lots of time with him.
