About Skotty
Skot the SuperDog is a happy, affectionate, dog-friendly boy who loves everyone he meets. Life is one big adventure for Skotty and he can't wait to experience it with you!
Skot's favourite hobbies include: giving cuddles, going for walks, chasing the ball, playing with his doggy friends, and looking happy. He also loves to swim so an occasional visit to a creek, beach or pool for a lovely paddle will make him delirious with happiness.
Although he's a big boy, he has moderate energy levels and enjoys a good afternoon snooze after a fun day.
Skotty enjoys meeting new dogs and people of all shapes and sizes. He is great with all dogs, big and small, and loves getting attention from kids and adults alike.
This beautiful boy has spent some time living with a dog trainer and as a result has beautiful obedience and manners. He is also crate-trained, rarely barks and travels very well in the car.
Loving, playful and loyal to the core, he will make an incredible companion.
Skot is currently living in Box Hill but spends his weekends in the Inner West and is willing to travel to meet you!
MY IDEAL HOME
Woof, my name is Skot and it's really nice to meet you! My ideal home is pretty simple... it'd have a place for me to sleep, toys, yummy food, and a family who will love me as much as I'll love them. I'd especially like to live with people who are calm and confident, enjoy going for walks, and don't mind if I plonk my big bum on their lap every now and then.
MY ENERGY LEVEL
I have moderate energy levels but I do enjoy my daily walk - when we're home I'll happily spend the rest of the day lazing around with you.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
Although I really love kids, I am told I'm just a bit too playful and big for children younger than 12. If your kids are older than that I will make a wonderful friend for them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS
I adore the company of other dogs! Every dog I meet is a friend and I love to play with them all. Unfortunately I am not suited to a household with cats, chickens or pocket pets.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
