Mercedes is a very affectionate and loving little lady.

She loves to give puppy kisses and cuddles and is the most placid out of all the brothers. She will fall asleep on you if you cuddle her for long enough.

Mercedes would do well with another dog for company.

Sharpei's are independent, regal, alert, dignified, animal with a calm and confident stature.

All Shar-Pei puppies need early socialization with children, strangers, and other animals. Like other fighting breeds, they can be stubborn, strong-willed and very territorial.

Early training can help control these traits before they become problem behaviours. Enrolling him in a puppy kindergarten class is a great start. Inviting visitors over regularly, and taking him to busy parks, stores that allow dogs, and on leisurely strolls to meet neighbors will also help him polish his social skills.
