About Tatum (On Trial 22/11/14)~ Ridgeback x puppy
Tatum is a 10 week old, female, Ridgeback x Great Dane x Mastiff x Am Staff puppy - yes, quite a gene pool. She is a lovely little girl who has come to us from her birth home, along with her sister Tatum, where they were part of an extended family of 2 litters totalling 10 bouncing puppies. So she is used to having other friends around. In her time with me she being exposed to all sorts of new things.
Tatum is more outgoing than her sister Avril (who is also available). Tatum was curious about my chickens but only briefly as there were lots more fun things to catch her attention. Being a puppy she just loves attention be it in the form of a cuddle with the big people or a run around with the little people. She even met cat and all she wanted to do was give him a big kiss but he was trying to show her how to box. She was not really impressed with this so just wandered off to resume play with her sister.
She is still learning how to walk on a lead so will need a bit more training. She travels well in the car and loves going for outings.
Tatum needs to be allowed inside for some quality time with her family each day. She is too young to be outside all alone. She would love to have another doggie companion in her forever home.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
For more information or to meet Tatum or Avril please phone foster carer Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. They are in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Tatum's adoption fee is only $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
