About Pipsqueak (On Trial 10/12/14)~ male Chihuahua x
Pipsqueak, male, Chihuahua x, senior boy, approximately 7 years old, weighing only 3kg. Pipsqueak is a sweet, affectionate little man who loves to sit on your lap whenever he can. He is housetrained and is an indoor dog. He needs to sleep inside because he feels safe and happy when near you.
Pip loves to play with toys and enjoys trips in the car. He hasn't had much experience walking on a lead but he walks well along side you. Pippy hasn't had much training and tends to jump to greet you. He just wants to show you how happy is that you're home. He needs a very secure yard as he is tiny and can fit through small gaps.
Pipsqueak gets along well with other dogs of a similar size. He was living with many other dogs before his owner died and he and many other dogs were rescued. He needs to live with another small dog. If you don't have one, Pipsqueak's little friend Shandi the Chihuahua is also available for adoption and they make a cute pair.
Pipsqueak is not confident around children so he would suit a home without them. Pippy is a little shy when he meets new people but once he gets to know you he will show you his playful, happy, and very loving personality.
For more information or to meet Pipsqueak, please contact Donna on 0466 099 426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Pipsqueak is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Pipsqueak's adoption fee is $250 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
