About Esmee
Hello there, I’m Miss Esmee, a beautiful calico girl. I came to Furry Friends when I was having my babies as I was a stray and had nowhere to go. My babies have now left me and I’m waiting for my purrfect furever home.
As I was a stray, I came into foster quite scared of hoomins and I can be a little bit scared of them still although I’m learning that they aren’t all bad. I really don’t like loud noises, they still scare me. My foster mum thinks that I may have been badly treated in my old life, which is why I can be a bit hissy at people I don’t know or if I’m not sure what someone’s intentions are. When I get to know someone, I love to chirrup at them and roll onto my back for smooches and if I really like them, will let them stroke me around the head, that’s nice.
I think my ideal family will be quiet and understanding – perhaps even an older person who is happy for me to come to them for smooches. I’ll certainly show my new hoomin lots of love and make them laugh when I play. I’ve started to play with my hoomins a lot now – they have a ‘dead bird on a string’ toy that I love and then there’s my cat tube – it’s fab!
