About Chester
Chester came devastatingly close to being euthanized in a Qld pound. Little Chester was listed as a Kelpie by the pound staff, and although his photo was passed around from rescue group to rescue group, no one had room for him. At the last minute, just hours before he was due to be put to sleep, we decided we could squeeze in a kelpie, although we really are supposed to only rescue small breed dogs.
When we met Chester, we almost fell off our chairs! If we'd known he was not at all a kelpie and was in fact a small breed dog, we would have offered to take him out of that pound days earlier!
Chester is NOT a kelpie - he is a Fox Terrier x Jack Russell. He weighs about 10kg (standard Fox Terrier, not miniature Fox Terrier) and he is totally a lap dog if you let him! He loves to cuddle, loves to lick faces and he just adores everyone he meets.
Chester is great with kids, greats with other dogs of all sizes, but a little bit too interested in cats. He thinks they are very fun to chase, although he'd never hurt anyone! He is being fostered with a Labrador, but he gets along great with little dogs too!
Chester spends half his time playing outside and the rest of his time in your arms having snuggles, he really is such a sweetheart!

Medical notes
Chester is a very healthy young dog. He has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and had heartworm tests to determine that he was negative. He has had a full health check and has been fed high quality Royal Canin dog food whilst in our care.
