About Zoey *On Trial in Her New Home*
*ZOEY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* \ Looking for a well-behaved Cocker Spaniel without going through the pesky puppy-stage??? Then you can’t go past Zoey and her lovely manners!
Sweet and just a little-bit silly is how we’d describe Zoey and you can tell she’s been well-loved but a change in her own home life has meant she’s looking for somewhere new. Even though Zoey is ok around other dogs she’d prefer to be the only one in her forever home as that’s what she’s used too. She’s great around cats having lived with 3 and she’s also fine with rabbits and birds. \ Adorable Zoey loves children though is better around those who are 7 years or older as she could still accidentally knock a toddler over in her playful exuberance!
Speaking of playful, Zoey has fun with doggie toys and enjoys a game of fetch even though she doesn’t always bring the ball back but that just turns into another game….CHASEYS!! She is friendly and affectionate and loves spending time with her humans. Clever Zoey knows “sit” and she can shake hands both left and right. She also knows “wait” and will do so when she’s fed, waiting for the “ok” command to start eating. Zoey LOVES treats especially Schmackos which will help with any further training you’d like to do with her. \ In recent times she hasn’t spent much time on a lead and gets very excited going for a walk though with regular practice she’ll get the hang of it again – she loves getting out and about!

Zoey LOVES food and enjoys a diet of dry food, bones and table scraps. You'll rarely hear her bark and she likes a dip in her doggie pool in the hot summer months but she’s not a fan of the hose. To keep Zoey’s coat in tip-top condition she’ll require regular brushing (which she adores!) plus a clip when required. Although she’s used to being an outside only dog we’d really like to see her in an indoor / outdoor lifestyle where she can be a part of the household goings on in a home where she’s not left alone for long periods of time, so a part-time worker, retiree or even someone who works from home would be ideal.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
