About Stella (On Trial 28/11/14)~ Rottweiler x Staffy
Meet Stella, she is a 5 month old Rottweiler cross Staffy. Stella is a bit quieter than her sister Jemima (who is also up for adoption); however, she can definitely hold her own during playtime!
She loves her cuddles and isn’t fussy when it comes to dinnertime. Like her sister, Stella loves her car rides and has no problem wearing her harness and lead.
Stella can be a little timid around males and sometimes other dogs; however, has never been aggressive towards them. She does have a skin condition that she is on medication for. The vet has advised that it is not contagious and that she will grow out of it.
It would be really great if Jemima and Stella could be adopted together. They have been together all this time and as a result, have become quite close. They play together and will often sleep cuddled up together.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
