About Roxy (On Trial 25/10/14)~ Beagle x Husky
Roxy is a very energetic, playful, young, 1 year old Beagle x Husky. She has a big heart and just loves to be around people and other dogs. She loves to play and can outlast the kids and other dogs. She plays with children of all ages and dogs big or small. She is currently living with a small dog and a cat, which she is not bothered by at all. She has never shown any signs of aggression with children or other animals.
Roxy loves the beach and laying in the morning and afternoon sun. She loves going for walks and is good on the lead. \ She is only young so she needs some training, such as going to training classes. She gets very excited and has loads of energy.
Roxy is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She likes to sleep in the house with her doona.
Roxy would be happy in a home with plenty of company. She'd be happy to live with others dogs but will still need to be included in family activities. So if you have room in your heart and home, Roxy could be your new addition.
For more information or to meet Roxy, please ring her foster carer Alison on 0422 596 774. Roxy is in foster care in Swansea, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Roxy's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
