Jake

Hi, my name is Jake and I am a handsome lad with very pretty markings who is looking for a new home due to my family's changed circumstances.

I currently live with 2 young children but am tied up in the yard when they are outside as I get a little excited. That I am full of beans is of no surprise as I am alone in the yard for 10 to 12 hours on week days and don't get walked so there is nothing for me to do except chew up odd things left around I am so bored. \ I sleep outside in a kennel and am only allowed in the house sometimes so badly need socialisation with both humans and dogs.

I have only met a couple of dogs in my life and liked playing with them but don't like cats. I am a bit of a traveller and have been up the whole length of the coast from Victoria to Queensland where I sat in the front seat and enjoyed the scenery.

I will sit on command when my bowl of food is put down and eat when you tap my shoulder twice. Apart from that I have had no training.

More than anything I need a warm loving family who will include me, have me in the house with them, take me on long walks, play tug with me, throw balls, all the things I have missed out on and most importantly I MUST go to dog obedience so I can meet other dogs and learn how to behave on and off leash.

I am a happy friendly dog who enjoy sunbaking, hates the vacuum and would love to give someone a heap of cuddles. Sorry about the photos. I am arriving at SRV in a few days and better shots will be taken.
