About "Sir William" Purrfect Match
Sir William is a stunning Turkish van type boy with the trademark colouring, coat type and physical build typical of that breed type.
He was rescued by Purrfect Match from a high kill Sydney pound where the poor lad wasn't looking his best after clearly spending some time abandoned and doing it rough.
Wills is a happy, chilled and easygoing boy who loves being with the family - people, other felines and cat friendly dogs. He is a very low maintenance companion, not too demanding and would definitely be at home in a family set up . Wills has a seasonal coat so will benefit from a good brush once or twice a week as he's very much Mr Vanity and preens, prances, minces and trots, rather than walk or run :-)
We'd like to make a special plea for William if at all possible, to be rehomed with his best buddy Prince of York, a maine coon cross also up for adoption.
These boys get on beautifully, as well as with other cats.....they rumble and play like kittens and then spend the majority of their day hanging out in communal areas of the home, or napping quietly . Absolutely easy going, beautiful, fuss free boys for families content to love their felines and allow them time to get closer on their own terms.
Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
If a cat is being adopted sight unseen, as in distance adoptions, we do require a home check to ensure our cats safety.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society.
Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
