About Blackie
Blackie is a smaller girl with a beautiful sweet nature who was surrendered when her family moved house. She is very affectionate and loves nothing more than to follow someone around all day, pottering around. As Blackie is older, her exercise needs are low, however she does love a walk or play at the beach or park, and she walks well on the lead. Blackie was never raced and has a very low prey drive, and is totally disinterested in cats and is friendly with all dogs of all sizes. She would suit a family with another dog, and/or children or a retired owner who is home a lot. In her previous life, Blackie spent her days alone in the backyard, so while she can be left on her own, she has quickly adapted to having lots of company, so a home where she is not alone is preferred. This sweet girl is very easy and a delight to look after.
