About Benson
Benson is an excitable little dog who enjoys spending time with people so is probably more suited to living inside for this reason, as he'll want to be around you most of the time. When you haven't got the time to play with him, Benson is quite content to sit by you and wait till you're done, as long as you promise to give him a good belly rub or throw a ball with him later on! Benson loves walking and walks well on a lead but prefers a shorter walk, around 15 mins to half an hour. He is well behaved when walking so whenever he sees another dog he doesn't bark or pull on the lead. Because Benson loves human contact so much he requires something to distract him when you're not around. A kong filled with a treat will keep him occupied for a while, as will toys - he really loves squeaky toys. Benson will be suitable for a home that can spend time with him and would be perfect for a family with children aged 10 or older as a family pet. He is house trained and content to be inside with you. Because of his high energy, an active owner would also be suitable. It is uncertain to the carer if Benson will be alright living with other dogs but when seeing them when out on walks he is completely fine. Because of his long coat, Benson may need to be groomed in the summer months and bathed at least once a week.
