He’s big, he’s playful, he’s totally convinced he is a lap dog and he could be all yours. This big goofball just wants to play and if you have a ball or tug rope – then you are fair game as far as he is concerned. This boy has been moved from pillar to post through no fault of his own, just an owner who did not take appropriate care of his dog.

Buddy is a good boy, he can be as gentle as a lamb when receiving a treat, can race flat out like a truck when chasing the ball at the park and after he is all tuckered out, he will curl up into the tiniest ball on the couch and sleep happy dreams. He would love a playmate but is equally happy to be your only pooch as he can amuse himself during the day and play with you after work.

Buddy is best suited to a family with older children as he is a big heavy boy who does not understand his weight. He is house trained and understands the boundaries that most people set for their dogs. He needs a firm hand when on lead and once into the walk he settles nicely into a good pace without too many distractions. Buddy is very friendly with all breeds, tolerates cats and needs a house with good fences as he is a big strong boy.
