About Trigger (On Trial 17/10/14~ Jack Russell x Maltese
Trigger is a sweet natured, 5 year old, female, Jack Russell Terrier x Maltese. She loves company and is house trained and obedient. She's an inside dog and loves to be inside and enjoy our company when we are home and to sleep inside.
Trigger loves bones and will play with them for days. She enjoys the beach and swimming and chasing sticks. She likes to lay in the morning and afternoon sun. She is good on the lead too, as soon as she sees the lead she will sit down in front of you waiting to go for a walk.
Trigger lets you know when someone is around the yard or a new person is at your gate and will bark a little until you say hello to her.
Trigger has energy to burn. She loves to play and can outlast the younger ones. She plays with children of all ages and other dogs big or small. She is currently living with a foxy cross and they have a great time together. She is not at all bothered by our cat. She has never shown any signs of aggression towards children or towards other animals.
Trigger has a luxurious soft, medium length coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and possibly clipping (a couple of times a year) to keep her comfortable and gorgeous.
Trigger would be happy in a home with or without children, and with or without other pets. All she wants is love and cuddles and you will get that back in return with lots of licks. So if you have room in your heart and home for a loving companion, Trigger is your girl.
For more information or to meet Trigger please call Susan on 0450 847 077 or email speedhump7375@bigpond.com. Trigger is in foster care in Swansea, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
