About George (On Trial)
George is so happy to be sponsored by Carol!
Curious George here is quite curious to find out what life for a pet greyhound is going to be like! \ Having finished racing 8 months ago, he is ready to spend the rest of his days out of a kennel all the time – running or sleeping on cool grass, roaching on a couch, and getting as many pats and cuddles and as is doggily possible! He is ready to get out and explore a new life and poke his snout into whatever life has to offer him.
George has an adorable little overbite which makes him even more debonair! Since being in foster care in Canberra, George has charmed everyone that he has met - he is a lovely, gentle affectionate boy who loves to play fetch and have snuggles with his humans. We think George would make a wonderful family pet and it gentle enough to be homed with youngish children. George is house trained, walks beautifully on lead and is friendly with doggy friends of all shapes and sizes. If you think you are the one to satisfy George’s curiosity we would love to hear from you! info@greyhoundrescue.com.au

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
