About Bonnie
Bonnie is a beautiful pooch looking for her loving forever home.
Miss Bonnie came into our care after being dumped at a rural pound with her 5 newborn pups. She is now safe in our care now and all of her puppies have now found forever homes.
Bonnie gets along great with other dogs and enjoys rolling in the grass and playing with her current foster-sister a small mini fox terrier. Bonnie loves spending time inside with her human family and is very well behaved.
She loves sleeping inside on her plush doggie bed (or preferably on top of you). She would be best in a home without cats and small children younger than 8yrs- just because of how strong she is and will knock them over. But she is really gentle otherwise.
She has these amazing honey coloured eyes and just looks at you with such love. She is such an affectionate dog and has such a gentle nature. And loves to stand up for a cuddle and snuggles into your neck.
She will hog food and steal sticks or balls off her foster sister, but not in an aggressive way, just bossy :) She must think she is still a tiny puppy, loves being carried, or if you're sitting she wants to be on your knee or right next to you to know you are there.
Being an active dog, Bonnie needs a home that will be committed to exercising her daily. She is wonderful on the lead when she walks but will start the walk with some pulling out of excitement, this calms down as the walk continues. She would love to live on a large property or be someone's daily running partner. She would also love to go to a home where someone is home a lot or if lucky enough go to work with you!! She LOVES human companionship.
Bonnie is a very clever girl and picks up obedience training well, She has already learnt sit, stay and lay down. Ongoing obedience training is essential in her new home to ensure he gains lots of doggie manners as she grows with her new family. She will push boundaries like many working dog breeds but responds well to training and picks up instructions very quickly. Her new home must have a secure high fence. She has never escaped but will try to if in chase of a smaller animal.
Can you offer this amazing young lady the loving home she deserves?
