About Deja (adopted 12/11/14)~ Chihuahua
This is Deja, 4 year old (approx), female, Chihuahua, weighing only 3 kilos. She loves walks and being by your side. She loves people and she wants to be with you. She is full of life and at times a crazy girl.
Deja loves other dogs and loves our 3 big dogs. She is a little wary of strange dogs on her walks though. She loves walks and walks beautifully on lead. She will sound the alarm when someone approaches the house.
Deja would suit a house where there was another dog or dogs to play with it and someone who was home a lot to give her the time this special little soul deserves.
For more information or to meet Deja, please contact her foster carer Halina on 0401 474 965. Deja is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Deja's adoption fee is only $400 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
