About Baloo (On Trial 14/10/14) ~ Lab x Bull Arab puppy
Baloo is an friendly, male, 9 week old puppy. His mum is a black Labrador x Bull Arab with a friendly temperament. He is a calm puppy and is the happiest when he is being cuddled and will snuggle into your neck. He enjoys playing with toys and exploring the garden.
Baloo is very well socialised with other dogs and would suit having a large dog companion. He is gentle with children. Being so young, he could learn to live with cats.
Baloo loves to be inside of an evening when people are home so he can enjoy feeling part of the family. \ It'd be great if there was someone that doesn't work full time, such as a stay at home mum, or someone who works from home or is retired. If everyone works full time then he will need another dog for company.
Baloo is going to be a large dog and so he will need 6ft fenes and daily exercise. Because he will be large he isn't suitable for children under 5 years of age because he might accidently knock them over. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Baloo's sister Tulip is also available http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/320522 as is his brother Pumba http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/320524
For more information or to meet Baloo please phone foster carer Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. Baloo is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
