About Jay Jay
Jay Jay is a friendly little dog who was rescued by one of our volunteers in Tamworth. He and his girlfriend Caramel was no longer wanted by their owner so they were abandonned. Thanks to some love and care provided by their foster carers, they were safely transported to Brisbane to be rehomed.
Jay Jay is very happy and friendly - he does well meeting new people and he is social with other dogs. He finds cats very interesting, but with ongoing training he could live happily in a family who had cats as he shows no aggression. Jay Jay is being fostered in a home with other dogs and cats.

Medical notes
Jay Jay has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He has been tested for heartworm and tested negative. He has been treated with parasite prevention and fed on a high quality Royal Canin food whilst in our care.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family, and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a two week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
