About Milton
Milton is the sweetest little fellow you could ever meet. He is gentle, quiet and very loving. He came to us from the Ipswich pound and he was very scared, but with gentle love he has come out of his shell and is enjoying life in his foster home.
Milton is a Pomeranian x but we're not sure what he's crossed with. He is about 10kg so bigger then the average Pomeranian, however still small enough to cuddle up in your lap at the end of the day.
Milton is being fostered with a large dog who he gets along with great. He also loves other small dogs. He is very sweet and gentle with children, and he loves to play. We would love to see Milton adopted to a home with another doggy playmate and possibly a family with gentle children, because he really does love to cuddle up in a kids lap!
Milton loves to go for walks, loves to play and is learning basic obedience training in his foster home. Milton recently spent a weekend at a farm with his foster family and they discovered he is great with other animals including cats, chooks, ducks, horses and cows! He is the best behaved little man!

Medical notes
Milton is a healthy 2 year old dog. He has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He has been tested for heartworm and tested negative. He has been regularly treated with parasite prevention.
Unfortunately when Milton came to us, his beautiful long coat was quite matted so he had to be shaved off. His fluffy coat will grow back with time!
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family, and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a two week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
