About Sally (On Trial 10/10/14) ~ Pretty Maltese x
Sally is a tiny, 6 year old, Maltese cross. She has a very bubbly personality and loves cuddles. She is an inside dog. She's housetrained. She sometimes goes out and plays in the yard but is mainly inside. She is very good on the lead and enjoys a walk.
Sally is currently living with 2 other small female dogs and she gets along well with both of them. She has also been living with a cat and has showed no interest in her at all.
Sally has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
Ideally, Sally would suit a retired person or couple, or a family with children over the age of 12. She would be happy living with other small dogs as an only dog. Her ideal new home would be with someone who is home all the time or most of the time, as she needs company.
For more information or to meet Sally, please contact her foster carer Erin by email erin.murnane@hotmail.com or on 0413 795 300 (leave a message or send a text if no answer). Sally is in foster care in Edgeworth, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Sally's adoption fee is only $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
