Wilfred

Wilfred is a energetic boy who requires an active owner who will be able take him for at least one walk daily. Followed by some playtime in the backyard to help burn off energy. Wilfred is best suited to a family with older confident children as he sometimes gets over excited jumps up and can pull on the lead. Ongoing training will help him with these issues. Wilfred is very food motivated so he should respond well to further training.When left home alone it is important to provide Wilfred with lots of toys raw meaty bones and chew treats to help keep him mentally stimulated and less likely to become bored and destructive (e.g. digging chewing).Wilfred has enjoyed socialising with other dogs during his time here. Although he gets along well with other dogs we ask that if you have another dog at home please bring them in to meet to make sure that they get along. Wilfred is ok to be around cats but may chase other smaller animals.Please ensure that your backyard is fully secure with at least 5ft colour bond fencing with no holes or gaps in the fence line that Wilfred could escape from.
