About Billy Jay (On Trial 16/11/14)~ Mini Foxy x Jrt
Billy Jay is my name a very handsome 18 month old male Terrier x. It was my lucky day when I was rescued from the pound by Dog Rescue Newcastle to begin my new life.
First stop was the local vet, where I had a health check, was desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed. Along with a little grooming as my nails were quite long.
Currently I am enjoying the company of two other dogs and am learning basic obedience and training.
I enjoy being involved with all activities, walks on the lead, toys, ball games, cuddles, belly rubs and chase but I am not so fond of the bathtub but I am sure that will improve over time.
My foster carer says I have devilish good looks and thinks I am now ready to start searching for my forever home, which sounds all very exciting. An active person, couple, family (either without children or with children 10 and older) would be ideal for me - someone who could fall in love with my zest for life and loving happy nature.
If you have some love to give and have a space in your heart and home for a little fella like me please call my foster carer Rowena on 02 4009 1846 or email rowenagmurray@gmail.com. Billy Jay is currently in care in Newcastle area..
Billy's adoption fee is $400 which includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
