Teddy is a sturdy built Kelpie / Border Collie / Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog X who loves treats and food. This means that while Teddy a pretty big boy he is also such a funny fellow guaranteed to make you laugh. He loves to play with other dogs, fetch balls and playing with his toys. OK, we have to confess he just loves to PLAY!

As well as getting along extremely well with other dogs, Teddy also loves people of all sizes and is also “cool for cats”. He is likely to jump when greeting people, so may not be perfectly suited to a home with young children.

Teddy’s basic obedience is good. \ He will sit on command, wait for his “GO” command to eat his food and he is also house trained and can just as happily sleep inside or out. He isn’t too fussed as long as he has a warm comfy bed he is happy and will sleep through the night with no issues. If he is inside on a beanbag you can sleep in all you like as he will be happy to hang out in that beanbag until you get up. Teddy is good around the yard also and seems to know what he is allowed to play with and what he isn’t.

He is a high energy boy and will be well suited to someone who likes to exercise as he will run beside you. He does have a fetish for push bike wheels And for this reason and for his own safety, he will need to be exercised in an enclosed off-lead area or on-lead until he learns not to chase everything that moves.

Teddy is a strong young boy who requires a confident owner, willing to exercise him daily and continue his on-lead training, which is coming along nicely. He is very loving and lovable with a beautiful nature and we believe that he is capable of fitting into a new household very easily and will bring you endless hours of joy.
