About Puppy Pinto (On Trial 14/10/14) ~ Lab x Bull Arab
Pinto is a female, 10 week old, Labrador x Bull Arab x puppy looking for forever home. Her mother is a black Labrador x Bull Arab with a friendly temperament. \ Pinto is happy, affectionate and curious. She enjoys playing with toys and exploring the garden. She has been very well socialised with other dogs and with people.
We expect all pups to be allowed inside when people are home so they can enjoy feeling part of the family. They need to sleep inside, at least until he is fully grown.
Pinto will grow up to be a large dog so you will need 6ft fences (not rural fencing such as mesh or wire). We recommend padlocks on gates to help prevent dog theft. It'd be great if there was someone that doesn't work full time, such as a stay at home parent, or someone who works from home or is retired. If everyone works full time then Pinto will need another dog for company.
It would be a bonus if you already have another medium or large sized dog to teach Pinto how to be a good dog and to be a playmate. She will soon be large puppies and therefore not suitable for children under 5 years old just because she might accidently knock them over. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Pinto's sister Tulip http://www.petrescue.com.au/istings/320522 is also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Pinto please phone foster carer Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. Pinto is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Pinto's adoption fee is only $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
