About Daphne and Sam (Trial 11/10/14)~ Golden Retrievers
Daphne and Sam are 9 year old, brother and sister, purebred Golden Retrievers. This sweet pair need of a loving home where they can stay together and begin a new chapter in their lives. They have been much loved family members and it is with deep regret that their owner can no longer keep them due to a change of family circumstances.
They are fine with the cat and children that they currently live with.
Daphne and Sam are a bit smaller from average Goldens. Golden Retrievers are intelligent, gentle and affectionate dogs who adore people. They need to be inside with their family when people are home.
Daphne and Sam will quite happily keep each other company and nap all day while you're at work so they are great dogs for people who want to come home to a joyous welcome and wagging tails. They'll also be more than happy to live with a family or retirees. This lovely couple still have a lot of love to give and will bring joy to your home.
For more information or to meet Daphne and Sam, please contact Caroline by sending an email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com. They are in Newcastle, NSW.
Daphne and Sam are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. We are only asking for a small donation to Dog Rescue Newcastle for them, say $50 or $100.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
