About Turbo ~ 5yo Mini Foxy (On Trial 22/10/14)
Turbo is a lovely, male, mini foxy, approx. 5 years of age. He loves to play fetch and could do it all day long, he particularly loves to play with the bigger balls such as soccer balls, he will bring the ball back and drop it approx. 1m from your feet, the he will push the ball with his nose to your feet and will continue to do so until you throw it again. What a little character!
I have two kids 4 & 2, he loves them both and is very friendly towards kids. He is a little cautious around adults, in particular males, but has warmed to my wife and I. On his first day with us he wouldn't come near me, but now loves when I pick him up and give him a cuddle.
He is good around other dogs. I have a 16 week old puppy and sometimes the enthusiasm of such a young puppy is too much for Turbo so he just gives a little growl and my puppy moves onto something else. It's good that he's teaching my puppy how to be a polite dog.
Turbo walks well on a lead, and is good in the car. I only have to open the lid of the wagon for him to jump up into the boot. He isn't a nuisance barker, only barking when he hears a strange noise.
Turbo is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
I think Turbo would fit in with any loving person or family. He'd enjoy some children who would love to play fetch with him, or anyone who will play with him and take him for walks.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
