About Hindy ~ Rehomed 3/10/2014
Hindy is a fun loving 10 week old, male Chihuahua x Pomeranian puppy. Hindy loves to help with paperwork around the home office by sitting in your lap and giving you licks – he has become his foster mums’ coffee-and-paperwork office assistant. He takes his job so seriously that he will curl into a ball and fall asleep so soundly that you can’t move and therefore keep working.
Hindy is the first to show you love when you get home from work or wake up in the morning. He loves his sleep and sleeps the whole night through - his feet twitch as he gallivants during his puppy dreams.
Hindy is in foster care with his 4 litter mates and 2 large adult dogs and he gets on well with everyone. \ He’s great with children so he would suit families with older kids as younger children may accidentally hurt him as he’s so tiny.
Hindy would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot if there is no other dog to play with. Hindy is very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. He is new to toilet training so his new family will need to continue his training as he grows. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Hindy is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when his family is home – he must sleep inside at night even when older. Dogs and puppies enjoy being part of the family and get comfort from being inside with their humans.
Hindy’s siblings Matai and Georgia Rose are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Hindy, please contact Deanne on 0414 419 432 or email deanne.82@hotmail.com. Hindy is in foster care near Wyong, NSW (Central Coast) and is not available for adoption interstate.
Hindy's adoption fee is $650 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
