Katie is a sweet girl who has been fairly isolated but is very loving and responsive. She is healthy and happy and learning to be out and about in the world again. She needs a family who will give her lots of love and the fun of being involved in family activities.
UPDATE: Katie is coming along really well with Ben & Anna who are helping her. She is very loyal and loves to be near them. She is at their house for a few hours every day as they work from home and she sleeps on the doona bed and gets up to check on them every little while. Contact is important for her-she is making up for lost time!
Advertisement on PetRescue. I talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
I arrange a meeting with the animal and If all goes well completion of paperwork and payment is done through my vet. The adopter gets a receipt from the vet surgery.
I keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
