About Tulip (On Trial 14/12/14)~ Lab x Bull Arab puppy
Tulip is a cheeky and lively 18 week old, female puppy who will soon grow into an impressive looking large dog. Her mum is a black Labrador x Bull Arab with a friendly temperament. She loves a good tug-o-war and has a feisty personality. \ She also has a more gentle side and loves being cuddled and will snuggle into your neck. She enjoys playing with toys and loves spending time in the yard.
Tulip is well socialised with other dogs and would suit having a large dog companion as she can get bossy. She does bark at cats so probably not suitable for a home with cats and a little too feisty for younger children.
Tulip loves to be inside of an evening when people are home so she can enjoy feeling part of the family. It'd be great if there was someone that doesn't work full time, such as a stay at home mum, or someone who works from home or is retired. If everyone works full time then she will need another dog for company.
Tulip is going to be a large dog and she will need a large yard, 6ft fencing and good exercise. She will also need sun care because of her colouring, especially on her nose and ears.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
