About Cherry ~ Rehomed 4/10/14
Cherry is a gorgeous 10 week old, female Chihuahua x Pomeranian puppy. Cherry’s fur is a beautiful blonde – Cherry knows that blondes just want to have fun! \ She loves to show you what toys she has and prance around the house with them. Cherry’s nickname is Cherry Baby as she loves to lay on her back and go to sleep and be carried around in your arms like a newborn.
Cherry’s soulful dark eyes stand out against her soft blonde fur, and with her baby face she is just begging for your love.
Cherry is in foster care with her 4 litter mates and 2 large adult dogs and she gets on well with everyone. She’s great with children so she would suit families with older kids as younger children may accidentally hurt her as she’s so tiny.
Cherry would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot if there is no other dog to play with. Cherry is very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. She is new to toilet training so her new family will need to continue her training as she grows. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Cherry is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when her family is home – she must sleep inside at night even when older. Dogs and puppies enjoy being part of the family and get comfort from being inside with their humans.
Cherry’s siblings Matai, Falco, Hindy and Georgia Rose are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Cherry, please contact Deanne on 0414 419 432 or email deanne.82@hotmail.com. Cherry is in foster care near Wyong, NSW (Central Coast) and is not available for adoption interstate.
Cherry's adoption fee is $650 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
