This gorgeous girl was rescued with her 2 sisters from a home attempting to sell them off at 4/5 weeks old.

Lacey is the shyest of her siblings but they are all very very shy at only 5 weeks and very head shy when you try to pat them. This is so sad as they are still only babies but have obviously never known kind human hands.

Luckily life will only look up from here for Lexi and her sisters as she meets her new foster family tomorrow and grows big and strong in care, has all their vet work done (to ensure they will never have to have a litter like their mummy) and when ready, find their forever homes!

Sharpei's are independent, regal, alert, dignified, animal with a calm and confident stature.

All Shar-Pei puppies need early socialization with children, strangers, and other animals. Like other fighting breeds, they can be stubborn, strong-willed and very territorial. Early training can help control these traits before they become problem behaviours.

Enrolling him in a puppy kindergarten class is a great start. Inviting visitors over regularly, and taking him to busy parks, stores that allow dogs, and on leisurely strolls to meet neighbors will also help him polish his social skills.
