About Zephyr
ZEPHYR M/CHIP 982009104864882 7 YRS 8 MTHS $250
Hi, my name is Zephyr and I am a beautiful very friendly brindle boy who comes with pedigree papers.
I look very sad in my photo and that's because I have had an awful life. Although I am house trained, I slept in a kennel outside and was kept in a cage on a cable run during the day.
I have really come ahead in leaps and bounds in the time I have been with Stafford Rescue. Linda has been fattening me up with yummy food and my coat is so beautiful and shiny. I behave more like a 2 or 3 year old and can jump at least 5 foot so good high fences are an absolute must in his new home. I need to go to obedience lessons to help in my socialisation but am a super friendly nice dog who is lapping up all the attention and walks and have such a forgiving nature I am loving life here and now have a big Staffy smile on my face :)
I lived with young children and was perfectly behaved with them. I am good in the car and sleep but unfortunately have not been socialised much with other dogs and don't know how to behave around them.
I was not walked, dislike thunder and try to hide from it. I enjoy attention and company and am sorely in need of a new home where I will be smothered with love, get rid of all those nasty chain memories and taken inside where I can be given a warm bed and a new family to love and be loved.
I have been getting on well with Linda's dogs and may be suitable for a home with an existing female dog and need an active family who are willing to exercise me daily. I love playing ball and with the tug rope but am a little too strong for young children with these things and jump up so would need to be supervised. I sit and drop on command.
