About Leila
Lovely Leila is a friendly 'torbie' and white girl who was a fantastic mum to her kittens and is now looking for a wonderful new family of her own.
A regal, independent and affectionate young lady, Leila would be a suitable companion for many different types of homes. Easygoing resident pets need only apply though - she is not a happy camper around nervous or aggressive dogs or cats!
Ideally, Leila would love to be the solo queen of her domain with a very loving and affectionate family to spoil her furevermore.
MY IDEAL HOME: I am dreaming of a home with an adoring single, couple or family with children who will care for and love me, who will show me affection and spend time with me, and and who will allow me a certain amount of freedom. If you have a secure backyard or courtyard where I can while away my days in the sun, that would be just perfect.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am still quite young and I definitely have my manic, racing-around-the-house spells! Mum says she finds it very amusing to watch me spend ages chasing moths (while hardly ever catching them).
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I quite like kids, as long as they have been taught how to interact properly with animals. I am more likely to wriggle away rather than lash out at children who are overenthusiastic huggers.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've been living with a numerous cats and I have to say I'm pretty particular about my feline company - I'd ideally prefer to be your one-and-only kitty love. I'm pretty relaxed around cat-friendly dogs, but aggressive or overly-interested dogs are not going to mesh well with my personality.
*This is a private adoption facilitated by Maggie's Rescue. Please note that Maggie's Rescue does not participate in the adoption itself, the adoption is between the current owner and the adopter. Whilst we have taken all necessary steps to verify the information contained within this listing, we recommend you confirm details with the owner during the adoption process.*
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
