About Battalion ~ Rehomed 11/10/14
Battalion is a gorgeous 8 week old, male Labrador x Bull Arab puppy. Battalion has a sleek black coat and gorgeous gentle eyes. He is very friendly and confident and his tail wags all the time.
Battalion is a cuddly boy who loves to snuggle with anyone. Battalion is in foster care with his brother Tiptoe and 4 other dogs both young and old and he loves all of them. He particularly loves to play a game of tug of war and he loves children so he would also suit a family with slightly older kids.
Battalion loves snuggling with the other dogs at night and during the day. He is too little for walks yet, but loves to follow you around the yard so it's easy to see that he'll love to join you on walks when older. He's very clever and comes when called already so he will respond well to consistent training as he grows. Battalion has progressed well with his toilet training and is very proud of himself.
Battalion would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog of any size or someone who is home a lot if there is no other dog to play with. Battalion is very social and will cry without human or canine companionship. Battalion must be allowed inside with his family and must sleep inside at night even when older.
For more information or to meet Battalion, please contact Jo on 0427 695 104 or email jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com. Battalion is in foster care in Wyong Area, NSW (Central Coast) and is not available for adoption interstate.
Battalion's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
