About Tess
Tess was originally rescued from the Albury Pound when she was 5 months old. She had been bred for pig hunting, but was surrendered when the breeder realised she was too soft-tempered.
Although Tess is approaching her third birthday, she still acts like a big puppy. She is incredibly playful, and loves nothing more than to go for a run and a swim down at the weir in the afternoons.
She is well socialised with other dogs, and although she can come across a bit strong initially, she just wants to be everyone’s friend.
Tess needs a home where her people are with her most of the time, or somewhere secure to house her while they are out.
Tess has been living inside with another large dog and several cats, and gets along well with both. She is house trained and crate trained.
As a large, energetic breed, Tess requires regular exercise and stimulation. Although friendly with other dogs, Tess would be just as happy as an only dog.
