About Sophie (On Trial 27/9/14) Jack Russell x Chihuahua
Hi! My name is Sophie and I am a female, 6 month old, Jack Russell x Chihuahua puppy. I love to play, go for walks on a lead (I'm a very calm walker), and snuggle in nice and tight with you. I have lots of love to share.
I am only 20cm tall and weigh a tiny 3.5kg.
I am an inside dog and like to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. I am still perfecting my housetraining so I may have a couple of little accidents at night but I do know to go when out walking.
I am currently living with a foster family and although I am enjoying spending time with my now best mate Benji (Maltease x Shih tzu) I am looking for a loving, permanent family to live with.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
