Angus

Hi, my name is Angus and I am a lovely boy with a beautiful nature. Although I have only been at Stafford Rescue for a few days everyone has fallen in love with me and say I am a magnificent dog.

I have come from a pound and was seized from an owner due to irresponsible care. I will need secure fencing as used to escape from old property, however if I am treated as one of the family, taken on walks and get lots of interaction with my humans then the need to escape may not exist.

I arrived with reports that I get on well with other dogs and cats and have been well behaved around the dogs here although there are no cats to check me with. I passed my temperament test with flying colours and the tester found me to be a very friendly laid back dog who loves a good cuddle.

I would make a great nursing home dog or companion for older retired people as well as families with older children. I would suit a home with someone around most of the time.
