About Vinnie (On Trial 18/12/14)~ Cattle mix puppy
Vinnie is just 12 weeks old, cattle dog mix with the most loving nature, he loves to play with his ball or squeaky toys until he gets tired then he flops down for a rest. He's terrific with children, even young ones.
He also likes to romp about with my other dog playing chase and getting up to puppy mischief; Vinnie is a very friendly boy and likes to snuggle up to anyone who happens to be sitting on the lounge even my young grandkids.
Being a youngster he will need some puppy training classes but he is very smart and already knows to sit and wait. A family that has time to spend training him and loving him will be rewarded with his unconditional love and loyalty.
Vinnie is big for his age. He loves other dogs. He happily plays with a Labrador and a Staffy. Loves bones and food in general. He is an active boy, but settles down well at night for a cuddle with you on lounge.
I don't think he will grow into a big dog because he looks like he has some Jack Russell Terrier as well as staffy and cattle dog in him. He's just so cute that you will want to cuddle and pat him all day!
Vinnie would be more comfortable in a home where someone is there a lot of the time so he's not lonely.
If you are interested in adopting this beautiful dog, please contact his foster carer Phil by phoning 0422 938 470. Vinnie is in Rutherford, NSW (near Cessnock) and is available for adoption interstate.
Vinnie's adoption fee is only $450 includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
